Birdball

Birdballs are featherweight composite structures weighing less than one ounce -- constructed of a soft foam ball integrated into a textile composite tail with a foam tail ring, The Birdball flawlessly rebounds when kicked and hit as a result of its balanced, lightweight structure.

History

In 2001, Brad Jamison of Enter Play Sports, Inc.  created the first Birdball—a playball for his daughters that wouldn’t roll down the sloping hill by their home in Springtown, Pennsylvania.

The Birdball is an oversized badminton birdie, originally devised of turkey feathers attached to a soft foam ball -- evolving into a super-lightweight structural composite using a “chain-link” fiber pattern, infused with epoxy and integrated into the foam.

Using the Birdball, inventor, Brad Jamison, developed Fairgame to practice agility, physical discipline, sportsmanship, and the importance of perpetually challenging oneself.

Fairgame

Fairgame -- a powerful, graceful sport that’s been described as “martial arts meets footbag.”  Fairgame is played in a court. that consists of adjustable rings that are sized to the height of each player, and considerate of physical limitations.

In Fairgame two players ralley the birdball back and forth using kicks, punches, head, knee and elbow hits.
