A lot of the sustainability factor could be embracing the heritage crafts

One of the approaches I’ve worked for a sustainably driven company is hand dyed textiles that supports textile workers in Africa.  What that allows them do is continue practicing their culture and heritage driven art form into the future because they are being financially driven to continue to do so.  This creates demand for something that has been historically overlooked and overshadowed by other people.  You can also integrate healthier materials into it, but at the core of it it’s like creating a model of things that is actually able to be self-sustaining to an extent.
